CLC Volunteers are a small group of people who just love working in the church yard.
We meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10am when we work together on keeping the old church yard looking beautiful!
During the past year we have planted bulbs donated by the congregation in Phase 1 of the Russell Stoneham Burial Site Extension.
With the help of Coca Cola, the Halls Committee and the North West Kent Countryside Partnership we have also planted a new hedgerow along the boundary of the burial site extension.
As the old church yard is designated a ‘living’ church yard we are all committed to preserving the natural ecology of this area and will strive to ensure continuity between the old and new yards.
